1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, joining our waitlist, or using Lootfinder in any way, you agree to these Terms of Use, our Privacy Policy, Disclaimer, and Community Guidelines. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use Lootfinder.

2. Description of Service

Lootfinder is a directory and aggregator service that helps users discover:

• Class action settlements
• Unclaimed property across all 50 states
• Product recalls (FDA, CPSC, NHTSA)
• Freebies and promotional offers

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Lootfinder. By using our service, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

4. User Accounts

When you create an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and promptly update your information
• Keep your password secure and confidential
• Accept responsibility for all activity under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

You may not share your account credentials or allow others to access your account. We reserve the right to disable any account at our discretion.

5. User-Generated Content

Lootfinder allows users to post content, including "I got paid!" posts, comments, and tips. By posting content, you:

• Grant Lootfinder a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content in connection with our services
• Represent that you own or have the right to post the content
• Agree that your content does not violate any third-party rights
• Acknowledge that you are solely responsible for your content

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or our Community Guidelines.

6. Premium Subscription

Lootfinder offers a Premium subscription with the following terms:

Pricing

• Monthly: $10.00 per month
• Annual: $36.00 per year (equivalent to $3.00 per month)

Billing

• Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis
• Your subscription will automatically renew unless canceled
• You may cancel at any time through your account settings or app store
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period

Refunds

Refunds are handled according to the policies of your app store (Apple App Store or Google Play). Generally, no refunds are provided for partial subscription periods. If you believe you are entitled to a refund, please contact your app store directly.

Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription prices. Any price changes will be communicated in advance and will apply to subsequent billing periods.

7. Tipping Feature

Lootfinder allows users to send tips to other users who share helpful information:

• Platform Fee: Lootfinder retains 5% of each tip as a platform fee
• Processing: Tips are processed through our payment provider; additional payment processing fees may apply
• Voluntary: Tipping is entirely voluntary and does not guarantee any specific outcome or service
• No Refunds: Tips are non-refundable once sent
• Tax Responsibility: Recipients are responsible for any applicable taxes on tips received

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree NOT to:

• Use Lootfinder for any unlawful purpose
• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content
• Submit fake "I got paid!" posts or fabricated screenshots
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Spam, advertise, or solicit without authorization
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the service
• Scrape, crawl, or collect data without permission
• Use automated systems or bots
• Circumvent any security measures
• Encourage or assist others in any prohibited conduct

9. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of Lootfinder—including text, graphics, logos, icons, and software—are owned by Lootfinder or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

10. Third-Party Links and Content

Lootfinder contains links to third-party websites, including:

• Official claim administrator websites
• State unclaimed property databases
• Government recall databases (FDA, CPSC, NHTSA)
• Company and product websites

These links are provided for convenience only. We do not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites. Your interactions with third-party sites are solely between you and that third party.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

LOOTFINDER IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

• The service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Information provided is accurate, complete, or current
• Any claim will result in payment or any specific outcome
• The service will meet your requirements

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LOOTFINDER AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF LOOTFINDER SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS, OR (B) $100.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Lootfinder and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising from:

• Your use of Lootfinder
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of another party
• Your user-generated content

14. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice, including for:

• Violation of these Terms or Community Guidelines
• Fraudulent or abusive conduct
• At your request
• Extended inactivity
• Legal or regulatory requirements

Upon termination, your right to use Lootfinder ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

15. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Lootfinder shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Arbitration shall be conducted on an individual basis; class actions and class arbitrations are not permitted.

You agree to waive your right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

17. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice on our website or app. Your continued use of Lootfinder after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

18. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

19. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Disclaimer, and Community Guidelines, constitute the entire agreement between you and Lootfinder regarding your use of the service.
